Just from my own experience, life is about living life not black or white, not right or left, but gray and down the middle. Any sway to any direction is straying from enlightenment, those who can recognize life is both yin and yang are ahead of the game, to ignore either is ignorance.
Those who think of yin and yang as different are ignorant imo. They are a whole thing, not meant to have imaginary lines drawn inbetween.
