The Joint Boston Question

Discussion in 'Smoking Accessories Q&A' started by AC Slater, Jan 19, 2010.

  1. So from reading through this section I see there's a couple of you who buy some of your shit from the joint in boston. Well long story short a buddy of mine was supposed to get a LW 15 arm from Docs in baltimore but we havent been able to make it down there. But, this weekend were visiting my buddy up in boston and I remember reading here the joint is a nice high end shop. My question for those of you who frequent the joint is do they carry luke wilson? and if so specifically the 15 arm? Also, how is their selection of slinger? Also i think Im going to be staying in the fenuil hall area, is the joint easily accessible from here? thanks

  2. Slater:

Welcome to Boston, the Joint you can get to from Faneil by taking the B green line to Packards Corner and the joint is across the street from where the T drops you off. I am not completely sure if they do carry what your looking for as I haven't been in there for a few weeks. There is also Buried Treasures on Cambridge Street which is kind of close The Joint and then my favorite place in the city to buy glass Green Side Up Gallery which is one stop down from Packards Corner on the Green B line as well. You may want to call ahead if your only looking for Luke Wilson brand or if your down to browse I would say definitely check out Green Side UP if your a fan of custom very functional glass. Hope this helps man

  3. i love boston so many head shops

  4. So many head shops? Really? I've only been to Hidden Treasures, the overpriced tiny place in The Garage. I've lived in MA my whole life. WTF!!

  5. Boston has hidden treasures, hempest, and sugar daddies. All of which are over priced as fuck. The joint is where I go. While I'm in a rush and honestly didn't read your post the joint is amazing.

  6. I have a friend who swears by the joint, but ive never been there myself. Buried treasures is expensive and very small, and sugar daddies is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced but has a decent selection. If i may make a suggestion since i live in the area, id recommend taking the commuter rail down to providence (not far), and going to a place called Watch Your Head head shop. They are very fairly priced and are extremely helpful. Also head shops in boston will throw you out if you say the word bong, the ones in providence are far more lax.

  7. Actually throw you out? And they sell bongs, but you can't say it?

  8. The reason your not supposed to say "bong" is because "bongs" are used for smoking weed and "water pipes" are used for smoking tobacco, or that is how MA law enforcement sees it. Boston is pretty strict with some of the dumbest shit but they been getting better.

  9. a lot of places will ask you to leave if you say any of the words you shouldn't say in a head shop.
