the job im applying to asks a lot of questions about weed

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by wanmower, Dec 20, 2010.

  1. Im applying for a job at a movie theater and the application is like 400 pages long.
one of the sections makes u answer true or false to various statements.at the top of the page it says to answer honestly and not answer what I think they want to hear.
some of the questions so far include:
-having a joint or beer for lunch helps me deal with people better
-I have not used marijuana in the past 90 days
-i have close friends that use marijuana

if i answer honestly, will they not even bother looking through my application? Like they can drug test me idgaf i have synthetic urine (and im even willing to stop smoking for 3 months) but i just dont want to be rejected for answering thsoe questions honestly.

    shud i just lie?
do they have ways of finding out?like psychologists?
why do they even bother asking these questions if most people wont answer honestly because theyre afraid of not getting hired?

why so many damn questions about jane? i have yet to come across a question relating to hard drugs like coke or heroine, which i assume would cause more problems in a work place than mj.seriously

  2. They want to see if you're going to lie.

  3. I'd lie just in case.

  4. if i was manager i'd only hire if you answered yes to the above 3 questions. All4Weed 4 President :smoke:

  5. It's a movie theater not the CIA, lie and tell them what they want to hear to get the job...

Alot of the time they will ask the same question multiple ways and compare your answers to see if you are being truthful. Never have seen a question about weed on a job application before, unless it is about DT.

  6. Be truthful and tell us how well it worked. ;)

  7. Don't use your real name or phonenumber, just incase they "offer you the job".

  8. Ugh.. lie? It's a fucking application. If I was the manager I'd disregard your application for not being stupid enough to lie.

Do you honestly think by telling the truth, you'll get the job? "Oh, I have an application here... this dude things it's great to smoke joints and drink during his break. He's a real winner, let's hire!"

  9. Agreed

  10. My current occupation did this exact same thing, just lie and tell them what they want to hear, but be careful and make sure when the questions are repeated and reworded that you answer the same as someone mentioned above.

Lie your ass off buddy. They say that so they can try and get people to answer honestly....because they want to weed (forgive the pun) out people they don't want. Like the "druggies."

So lie lie lie. If you want a job, when it comes to drugs and alcohol always answer how you think they want you to, but make sure you answer a few off not regarding things that are seen as so bad, so they don't automatically think you're lying.

  12. ^ Don't answer a few "off" so they dont suspect you're lying.. that shits all done by computer anyways no one sits there and reads that shit. Just fucking give the answers you think they want to hear. It's really not that damn hard.

  13. Not every application for every business is done by computer dude. And I'm not suggesting he answer anything horribly, just not perfect on one or two.

  14. dude its not an exam that u cheated on, so u answer a few wrong so it looks like u didnt cheat, its a job app. answer how u think they want u to answer

  15. Remember your lies.

    Hired.

  16. Just answer those things like you know they want them answered, hired.
