I've personally dabbed BHO made from nugs that got moldy; however I've not tried Iso. I assume that it would be safe - alcohol would destroy any mold spores
I've iso'ed 2 pounds of molded bud and trim with no problem. I read somewhere that toxins from the spores can be soluble in iso and potentially leach into your end product. Still not sure what the right answer is but the stuff I did smoked fine
I can remember my best tasting batch i had, i used heat and i keep swirling the pan so everyithing stays thin, then when the iso is like 30 seconds away from completely evaporating i take it off of the heat and keep swirling... the pan is still warm and at this point you can really smell the qwiso and you can literally watch the remaining drops of iso evaporate, i waited til the pan completely cools off without putting it in the freezer... that batch came out real tasty.
I have a buddy who used to get some mold because of a SOG set-up he had. the best results ive seen with dealing with mold is to Completely dry the bud,,Fast too, like on the top of a hood for an hps bulb, if still wet.. and Ive seen Bho works really well with not grabbing the moldy smell or taste if any lies in the bud... Ive seen this work on some pretty fucking moldy shit and it came out fine for me... way better than tryin to smoke around the mold or sell it.

Decided to do 1 more kandy kush run. Edit: 3.1 washed, .4 in return. (.6 including the second wash) Shit looks/feels like fresh tree sap. Waiting for my brother to get home so we can dab up.
The second wash has a warm taffy consistency at room temp. and it's pretty malleable until it gets too warm. It will shatter if it's cooled. 1st and 2nd washes.

any way i can get the oil stuck on these filters from bho runs with some 100% ISO. like a mini QWISO orrr should i add trees into the equation?
I feel like you could just wash the filters, can't think of any reason why not But I think you should wash some buds anyways
