relatively speaking, yes in information. the world had not seen anything like it before; so much information and great minds alike in one place. everyday you had great minds just browsing through its halls and perusing for an intellectually stimulating conversation or argument. Makes me think of an ancient, physical Internet. (I wonder if there were trolls back then) But I do believe it's quite similar to the Internet today. Obviously the Internet is way more advanced, but this is 283 BC after all.
Im . We are talking about the amount of information on the Internet currently ? Because much time has passed since 283 BC and what happened between those years is available on the Internet .
I was pretty much just doing a comparison between the two. I recently read a book and it talked a little bit about the Library of Alexandria and all I could think about was "damn, that's like the Internet for us today". Sorry, didn't mean to confuse; I think of weird things that only I can understand sometimes haha.
Haha no I see what you mean now. I'm easy to confuse but I'm pretty lit, it's 3:30 and I have work at 8 lol. My brain tends to miss connections when I'm like this
lol good luck with the whole working-on-no-sleep thing. never fun, but damn getting home sparking up and sitting down after work never felt so good, haha
depends where u go on the internet. the amount of idiots far exceed the amount of intellectual people on da interwebz
