So I'm putting this on the beginners forum because I feel like a lot of ppl think growing is easy and cheep but its not...if you wanna grow quality flowers it will take time, expriance, and a little bit of money..you can't just throw plants under cfls and expect to grow massive awesome buds. Invest in the right equipment and genetics and you will have a much better end result every time I mean we all have bumps in the road but keep at it and it gets better with time..time is another pretty important part of the initial investment as well. Invest time into your grow and it will repay you happy growing
Totally agree. My 1st set up was like $250.00 and I went cheap buying a lot of used equipment and some DIY. With the right training was able to get 4 ounces off a plant. Not bragging at all because I killed 2 plants before a successful harvest. Takes time, money, patients, and homework.
That's what I'm saying on my first grow I shelled out 2000 but I feel I did it right and didn't half ads shit I saved up for the right equipment and have had nothing but success I mean I gained my investment back my first harvest
Yeah I went the opposite route a year of homework then got a cheap set up just to see if I could do it. When problems popped up everything I learned went out the window. As grows went on I upgraded equipment. Now I’m saving for a new set up DWC and quantum boards.
I was thinking about those as well but I’m cheap I want to pay next to nothing when it comes to electricity and running DWC 24/7 will boost elect so I figure try to save on light.
There really not terrible on electric I switched out from 1000w hps for the 630 de cmh so i guess im saving on it just from that
Yeah I run 300 true watts now led only cost me 30-50 a month to run my setup 2-3 plants at a time. I just try to not have my habit interfere with household needs. If I had to run 1000w I think I’d do a outdoor grow.
I kept track last grow 3 plants got 7.5 ounces cost me 200 in electricity. I’m looking to grow 1x per year wanting a pound per grow.
