I just wanted to tell you about a book that I just read.... While in TN, the Dinguses lent me a book to read on the way home, and I finished it before I even left the state! It's called "The Ignored" by Bentley Little, and I highly recommend reading it. I got into it so much that everytime on the bus we took a break I was afraid no one would see me either! The only problem I had with the book is that it leaves a lot of questions, but since it's told in 1st person, it is kinda hard to answer them...I mean, the narrator can't answer questions he doesn't know the answer to...but there was just no other way to write it. Anyway, as I was saying, this is an excellent book, very disturbing.
that sounds like a good read. it sounds like itll keep you thinking throughout it..sounds like worth looking into!
another book by Tolkien that is good if you can remember all the names of people is "The Silmarillion" ....it's almost like the Middle Earth Bible with a creation story and something almost like Satan...it takes place at the Beginning of Middle Earth, a couple thousand years before The Lord of the Ring.
the silmarillion confused me, i can only read about 50 pages before it confuses me so much i cant read it, then i forget about it and have to start all over again !!!
so far the only series i've read is the Left Behind series... all 10 of 'em. LOL. they average between 350-400 pages a piece... so that's some heavy duty reading i can't wait for the 11th to come out.
