  8. Hey y'all.. we all good down here. Luckily the flooding is mostly down South, so we haven't had to worry about it here, however we do have friends and family that have lost everything.. it's craziness.

I appreciate y'all checkin in on me.. we good! Still waiting for plants to be ready so I can have enough cash to finish out the room. The framing is all done now and the AC's have been purchased.. just gotta get together the funds to insulate and drywall up the new area. Hope that will happen this week and I can move forward with the project...

Gotta say it's been quite difficult to build a new room and somehow get all the baby stuff together.. Ha! obviously the kiddo comes first, so a lot of what I had planned has gone to the wayside for now. It's cool, it will get done when it's supposed to.

  9. Good to hear you are ok dude, cant imagine how devastated those people must be to loose everything in a night or a few days, kinda lucky we dont get such bad storms in the uk.

  12. Iron - long time, Bro. Good to see you're safe and out of Harvey's harm. I've been on sabbatical from the Forum for awhile, did a couple of months down deep south, back on Middle Coast now. Slowly transitioning from HID's to LED's, and downsizing to single plant autoflower grows. Lots of fun when there's less work involved, although I always seem to find excuses to spend more time with her than is really needed. Here's a little bud porn for ya. TH Seeds Auto Original Bubblegum - 11.76 oz single plant under a MARS II 700 (320W consumed). I grow the photoperiod from the same breeder before I shut down my 600W HID, couldn't tell the difference:

Good luck with the additions - room and family both!!!! And yeah, the kid will come first from here on.
Bestaluck to ya, shout out when you can.

  13. Nice plant. I hope my first autos, TH Seeds MkUltra, turn out that big. After 8 years of growing photos I thought I'd give some autos a try.

  14. Good luck with it, Granny. TH Seeds is awesome in my book & I've heard good things about the MK Ultra. If you read the lineage of that strain you may run away scared though Bolt:lmafoe: It's a cross between G13 and OG Kush. I had a G-13 / Big Bud cross about 10 -12 years back that was mind blowing, LOVED the G13 influence, I always warned first timers to tie their shoe laces to the coffee table so they wouldn't float off into space. I think I still have some selfed seeds somewhere, one of these days I gotta see if they are still viable. And one of OG's parents was Chemdawg, one of my more recent years' favorites. So that's a pedigree I need to keep up with!!! Do me a favor, put my contact info back somewhere and let me know how that turns out for ya. By early winter I may want to try that MK Ultra as well.
As it's your first auto grow, if I may offer a few suggestions - watch nute strength for the first two weeks but after that you should be able to go pretty well normal. I run pure hydro ebb 'n Gro, and usually run 1000 - 1100 ppm with great results. I've grown about ten auto's and have yet to find one that's nute sensitive once its in bloom.
Don't crowd the plants, all the auto's I've grown want plenty of room.
DON'T TOP IT. The only training you need to consider is LST. Bend the main leader over 90 degrees, starting about 1/3 of the way up the plant, to horizontal at about 2/3 the height. After that, if it stretches (some auto's don't), keep tying down the top leader to horizontal. The auxins in the plant will cause all the side branches to compete for top position, so train all them down to be even with the horizontal top leader section of the plant. That Bubblegum of mine had 30 top buds, all about 6" long, because of the LST training. It works.
Other than that, standard rules apply so I won't bore you with those. But feel free to shout if I can offer any more insight for you.

Hey Ironhead, thanks for the rent of your thread space, the check's in the mail!!!

  15. Looks real nice olde school, to be honest i had been a bit hesitant with TH seeds as a uk grower who has heard hardly any reports for them, thankfully your picture and few posts here have changed that . Hope everyone is good, fun times for iron ahead in a few weeks i believe.

  16. I don't believe you will be disappointed with their genetics. I've done three harvests of their Original Bubblegum (two auto's, one photoperiod) and all of them were excellent. I just ordered more for the winter so I don't run out. LOVE that BubbleGum!!!

  17. Did it have that bubblegum smell/taste? Ive done a few bubblegums never had that iconic taste like bubblegum.

  18. No, neither the photoperiod nor the auto had that flavor. It had an awesome aroma and smooth flavor after the cure, but no bubblegum flavor. So I've done three grows and never seen that phenotype either :(
