Tonight, as I bought yet another Dutch at my local 7-11, it dawned on me; the men and women who work at minimarts have a very unique privledge. They get to know who smokes weed. Everyday, they meet stoners from all walks of life, whether it be for a Dutch or some E-Z Widers. Am I the only one who thinks that's kinda cool?
Its not the most glorious job but it does have some benefits. My boy quit his minimart job when he got out of rehab for that reason. He could find anything because the people he talked to at 2am after a blunt purchase were the names to know. Gas station attendants and pizza delivery drivers are like the lawyers of the blue colar world.
Man, anyone in line or that works there and has ever smoked knows what your up to if you buy a single blunt shell or pack of papers.
