Time to learn to read those ancient Chinese medicinal manuscripts; I'm more proficient at cranking boys out than girls at this point. Fortunately these spindly replacements were waiting in the wings.
Not sure if the conical center mass of the lighter shade is due to the slight difference in variety or just age related.
hi @The Bag Boy ,,,good to see your other grown plants in your garden .ya got a green finger mate,,,,,,,,,mac,
What has two thumbs and zero situational awareness? This guy, who ripped the arms off of an already challenged sprout that I forgot to undo the LST points when I transplanted it for it's life outside.
I've got the stage set for my experimental outdoor run; letting them all soak in some rough weather we're going through then seeds hit the soil tomorrow. Then it's off to a DIY mini hoop house in the back yard.
Still haven't cleared to two in ground plots to attempt some functional farm to table efforts but have repositioned the half barrels to one of the most exposed spots in the back yard. Four squash on the back row, three sweet potatoes in the middle, and two as yet uncommitted containers have a head start on what ultimately goes into the Earth.
Although reason stepped in and rerouted this system to function for my indoor efforts, I've still got over two dozen starts working in the greenhouse. So far they've served to replace faltering sprouts inside but there will be enough to try to work in a clandestine cycle to buffer potential shortfalls with this reduced footprint.
Rounding up the wagons; offering Sunrise to the cucumber and squash and Sunset to the tomato and yams.
