    i think a sandwich is some sort of filling (meat, vegetables, etc.) between two slices of bread

    A sandwich NEEDS an actual slice of bread involved.
    A wrap is not a sandwich.
    A pita is not a sandwich.
    A taco is not a sandwich.
    A burrito is not a sandwich.

    You get the idea.

    What about a hotdog?!?!? Meat..there are 2 slices of bread almost. I mean those 2 slices of bread on your pp&j were once part of a whole loaf. Like the hot dog bun..they arent seperate..but it could be 2 pieces pretty much.
