    Think cracks addicting or marijuana makes you happy? Imagine what virtual reality will be like in less than a century. I hope to see this type of by the end of my life if i'm lucky.

    Infinite possibilities that will feel 100% real. You could create virtual simulations of the past and relive memories by simply making the program based on your memories.

    Corporations will create premade fantasies, virtual reality interactive porn o_0 can't wait..

    Imagine having implants in your brain that allowed you to jack in to the internet. then getting sensory programs that recreate effects certain drugs may have. Downloading virtual hallucinogens! If you have a bad trip? Turn it off and bail immediately back to reality.

    i just want some preprogramed common sexual fantasies. That'll be the type of simulated reality that sells to the common people thus making it a common household item.

    I dunno man, I wouldn't be too sure about that. There are a lot of intelligent people in the science community who believe it's possible. And they feel they can reduce serious risk of injury with certain advancements, like if the implants were organic and matched with your DNA to keep your body from rejecting them.

    Of course we don't have that technology now, and of course there are intelligent people in the science community who disagree with my above statement.

    Whatever the case, we won't know until we cross that bridge. So I don't say it's going to happen, but I don't say it won't either.

    at the rate we're going now i can say with confidence we will. it may not be perfected in any of our liftetimes but it will definetely be started.

    they had this on batman beyond lol. the same as drug addicts we have now, there were people on the show committing crimes to get their virtual reality fixes:laughing:

    I've never seen Batman Beyond, but I've seen similar things in other movies and books. Shit, I might just write a book with shit like that in it too.

    (sorry for the double post)
    just wanted to point out that the movie "Minority Report" has a virtual sex scene it only lasts like half a second, its when Tom Cruise is running aways from something and you see some guy in a tube with a neon orange virtual girl on top of him
