Honestly, I think it is partly the governments work to take away our rights and guns. Ever since the discussion of them taking guns from us, there has been like 10 massacres in a 2 months. They cause the problems then take away our guns so we cannot fight back when they start the martial law.

There was a study done by a guy I read about, "tipping point" by Malcolm Gladwell. He shows how when there is one huge shooting (ex. Batman) more shootings generally happen after that. Same was proven did suicide rates. It's really a amazing book
People always say this but it's total BS. The amount of large scale random shooting recently is way more than in the past. It's like one person said this "they only started reporting this now" thing and everyone started repeating it without checking if it's actuall true.. It's not.
Personally I'm happy that guns are illegal for the general public in Australia. Shootings are practically unheard of. I guess overall there's always going to be these kind of people, having such easy access to the means doesn't help.
Yeah, unfortunately making guns illegal for the public wouldn't help at this point. The laws need to be looked over, like waiting periods etc.
Yeah it would be practically impossible to recall all the guns. I'm pretty sure you can apply for a license if your in a gun club or own a property with animals or whatever.
Exactly right. If no one in America had guns and I was asked if I wanted the right to go buy one, i'd say no. But given the current situation in the country, i'm actually glad that good guys are able to put themselves on the same level as criminals. I really want to see a story where a gunman opens fire and someone with a CC license just caps him in the head before he can do real damage.
All crime rates are lower in Australia than the US. Why would that be a good thing? So only criminals can have the guns and not the good people?
