Both parties target each other and the American people all the time and have forever. Basically, IMO, neither can ever be trusted to do the right thing as it affects the citizens, the actual people of this country. Either of them being in control without checks and balances from the other is a recipe for disaster. We either need them both gone or both continually checking each other.
