There's gotta be some more anglers on this board. I'm a saltwater pier fisherman myself. Haven't been since a hurricane blew down all the pier's around here in 2003. They're building new ones with concrete pilings this time and they should open this spring. Looking forward to getting out there and wetting a line.
im more of a freshwater lake/pond angler looking for cats, large mouth bass, and basically anything that bites best shit ever is finding a chill ass spot and smoking with a line and worm/minnow out there... i have this place that is actually on one of my good friends property ( he lives on a private road, on top of the highest point in my town) and u have to walk about 1/2 a mile to this spot.... the walk is well worth it though cause u get up there and there are two ponds that are divided by a little land barrier.... never seen anyone else back there and ur guranteed everytime u go there to catch at least 5 bass/crappies.... so chill but i also love a nice well planned trip out into the ocean... nothing like fighting some 20lb+ stripers!!
