  1. The First Double-Coiled Coil | Illadelph Glass

"The first of its kind. This Reti worked coil set features a coil wrapped inside another coil. The set features clear, cobalt and purple glass, reticello worked coil top, ash catcher set-up and slide. The coil base has our new pyramid perc… or as others call it: The Collins Base. This coil is available to retailers now."

  2. i heard from everyone that has hit an illadelph coil that the drag is immense. wouldn't this just intensify this?

  3. Hmm I hear the drag isn't bad when properly cooled, and with a well made coil.

  4. That looks pretty sweet, and any reduction in drag would be excellent.

  5. well, considering they're rather expensive; i'd be extremely pissed off if i bought one with a poorly made coil.

i've heard some people say they're a complete bitch to rip, but neat link anyways. i know for a while i planned on getting one

  6. Agreed.

  7. It drags fairly decently but if you apply a moderate pull it works with ease.

  8. you won't buy a shit coil from illadelph but there are plenty of Chinese glass companys that will sell you shitty coils.

  9. mmm, i cannot remember when, but i do believe i heard of someone getting a faulty coil and illadelph was quite unhelpful.

It's Illadelph, they have an amazing reputation from what I've seen so far and their prices aren't cheap. I'd be willing to drop money that the drag is hardly noticeable if even there.

Edit - In fact there happens to be an appreciation thread with 75 pages on the first page. Take a look. And to see for yourself there is an Illadelph coil milk in this thread. Doesn't appear to be too much drag for me.

And one more point I figure I should mention, based off your post you probably know maybe two or three actual people in real life that have hit one. Chances are easy that they could of been hitting a fake Illa.

I don't know, I just wouldn't purport something like that, especially of a well name brand, unless I have had first hand experience.

  11. It's a pretty well known fact that illadelph coils have drag, often times a good amount of it. The quality of their tubes doesn't correlate with a design that will have drag no matter what..trying to force that volume of smoke through a narrow diameter coil will almost always have drag.

  12. Okay, if I feel slightly dumb as I did what Eric did, and based my post off of what I know about Illadelph, the milk's I've seen from coils, and general smoking knowledge. So yeah, I apologize for ranting on his use of third person info then doing the exact same thing myself.

If I could go back I'd probably say something along the lines of I think insane is too strong an adjective when talking about coil drag and that as far as I know Illadelph does not have bad customer support.

  13. Many Illadelph genuine coils spring leaks according to their owners.

  14.

  15. It looks really neat. I wonder if it actually cools the smoke anymore then just the regular coil.

  16. Man that looks pretty sick, but it's kind of like, at what point are you just gonna get a vape? Ya know, it's like triple perc double coil ash catch, fuck just get a volcano haha most of the bongs are expensive.

  17. Just got a Da Buddha. :hippie:

But that coil looks like sex.

  18. yes it would. Longer passage, more surface area, more time that the smoke spends surrounded by cold

  19. daaayuuuum,Illadelph step it up like 3 notches
