The End of the World?

    Is the end of the world, at least as we know it, coming? Nostradamus predicted three major world wars, with the third and largest of them bringing out the anti-Christ and his counter-point in the world. If you believe his prophecies, a 27 year war(the war on terror?) would be started with what many people see as the attacks on 9/11. With the violence in Iraq escalating and with no end in sight, could this be what Nostradamus predicted?

    Ethiopia is now attacking surrounding areas, an act that is being seen as a possible catalyst to religous war across Africa. It seems that the further we get away from 9/11, the more Nostradamus' predictions are coming to life. Could this actually be the start of the end of the world? Personally, I believe Nostradamus could see what was coming, and I think a war like the war on terror could easily turn in to a multi-decade war leading to the destruction of most of mankind.

    John Hogue: Quatrain 97 of century vol 6 reads, "At 45 degrees latitude, the sky will burn. Fire approaches the great city." At latitude 45 degrees the only new city since Nostradamus' time that you could call great and new and vast is the city that rests between 40 degrees and 41 degrees degree latitude, which is Manhattan and New York. Now... That's a little off.

    I don't believe in 6th sense bullshit.

    Though, I do think we're do for another state of total war. And it'll be messy, real messy.

    Penn and Teller are the shit. I went to vegas recently and got to see their show, and got to take pictures with them and chat for a bit after, great guys, Penn is a fucking sasquatch.
