Exclusive: Bethesda to Announce Elder Scrolls MMO in May
    -----------------------

Kind of happy, kind of worried.

I love the elder scrolls but not sure how it will transition into an mmo.

Edit: On second thought, it's probably going to be a hell of a game. And if it's constantly updated I may not play another game for a while after it releases.

  2. I wouldn't be too worried, considering how I can play their Elder Scrolls games for 80-120 hour stretches (over a few weeks of having the interest in playing) without ever touching the primary plot. I think we can be fairly confident there will be plenty of content, although they won't be able to make it scale with the player like they do in SP.

Might be a bumpy ride at first - I'm sure there will be plenty to do, but they may need some time to fine tune it to the players and the different approaches to MMO play.

I do so hate the reporting of: Bethesda will announce in May 2012... if they're making the game, the reporter just announced it for them! ffffff

  3. Hm.

    Interesting.

  4. yeah that sounds like a really bad idea

although... a first person MMO does sound really cool

I guess I'm on board as long as they still make a TES 6

  5. just so you know... you can play skyrim and oblivion 3rd person and i wouldnt doubt morrowind either.

also you can play WoW in first person.

it would be goddamn awesome if they make a full sized Tamriel with like 300sq miles to explore with a bunch of other people, and with that much land you could have some actual wars and make it seems a lot more realistic than games like WoW and WAR.

  6. Fuck yeah. I always wished I could play skyrim with others

  7. FUCK BETHESDA!

What the fucking fuck happened to all those years of "Elderscrolls will remain single player"

Fuck you Bethesda you money grubbing whores

Maybe he's just not good^ lol

  9. if it was a free release would you still feel that way?

  10. Well not the money grubbing part, theyd still be whores though.

The Elderscrolls is one of the last bastion of single player RPGs, and it should stay that way.

The day the Elderscrolls releases an MMO, Is the day RPGs will die.

  11. Yes becaused a maxxed out Jack of all Trades that can oneshot a dragon isn't good :p

  12. part of me definetly agrees with you. But im sure people are telling them constantly they want an mmo.

It could be really good but there is definetly more of a chance it will be a huge letdown or a blow back for the series.

I've Played and beaten Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, as well as all officially released content for all of them so far :D.

I'm a huge elderscrolls fan. Morrowind=Best game ever, I would nerdgasm if it had skyrims combat system and graphics

I've also reached one hit kill god status in all of threm, both legitimately and not, I be dedicated :D

Ok smarty pants where's the boots Of blinding speed and how can you wear them and not be blind?

  16. I don't remember the npc name or anything its been awhile. You find an npc on the road (I believe she was either Redguard or Imperial), and she had you do some quest (been years since I played), I wanna say you escorted her somewhere but I'm not sure, and she gives you a fake reward. You find her after that and kill her, and you get the boots of blinding speed.

To wear them without being blinded, you need to enchant something with a resist magic 100% and equip it. If you wear the two together, you get the speed, without the blindness.
