Alright guys, the craziest ting just happened. So let me begin by saying, me and my roomate switched roomates, so now i have another kid living with me. Well, today, i smoke a bowl, go inside and chill with my new roomate (also an heb conessoir). We chill for like 20 min, waiting for our friend down the hall to call us and tell us to come outside to go to the hookah bar. Well, as were waiting, we hear the loudest bangs ever on our door. We blow it off, and then they do it again, so we come to the door and its some girl from downstairs wanting to kick my old roomates ass (apparently he had thrown a penny at her window and cracked it, but come to find out it was someone else all together). We told her he didnt live there anymore, so she goes down the hall to his new room and does the same thing. Now, we and a few others gather by my door and talk about it. We chill for maybe 5 min, and all of a sudden COPS. They swarm the floor (apparently, the RA from downstairs called the to find out what the commotion upstairs was). They didnt catch the girl, but they caught my firends...they had pulled gravs in their bathroom and stunk up the flooor (I know its a horrible idea, and i told them, but everyone on my floor does it for some reason except for me.) The cops ask to come in, so they stroll in, say "it smells thick in here". My friedn admits to it, and tells them where the stuffs at. He had a grav on the floor, and about .7 in an unlabeled pill bottle. He then ges onto tell them how it works (cops were actually kinda cool and impressed). SO they make him call his roomate to come talk to them (also one of my best friends). They admit to it being theirs, and then talk for a bit. Now they have to go talk to the dean whenever they get a letter. They can either be kicked out all together, kicked out of just housing, go on academic probation, or go through the drug program. We won't know for a while. Anyways blades, thsi has ruined my night. I feel really bad for them. Don't smoke in dorms EVER. PS: Worst of all, the second friend's best friends dad died only hours ago. He says its the worst day of his life. TLR===Kid throws penny at window, resident freaks out and causes commotion ipstairs. Cops are called, they dont cathc the resident, but they catch my firends smoking. Shit hits fan HARD
sure am dude. i was in there literally 15 min before the cops showed up. some other kid that didnt even live in there was the reason it smelled it turned out. didnt use a sploof or the shower and just left the door open. its a damn shame.
Shame on that RA for calling the cops for trivial shit. This is a perfect example of why I am always telling you young guys not to call the cops, man. Shit always hits the fan after they show up. It is just best not to have them around where you are smoking/living. Fuck the cops. Increase the peace. Keep it good in da' hood.
totally agree man, once the cops show up, someones life will be messed up. no reason to get authority involved unless there is an immediate threat, which there obviously was not. just messing up peoples future over a bowl. at least they didnt get charged due to them being campus pd.
Hey OP since you live in the dorms maybe you can share some insight. You obviously don't smoke in your dorm but do you keep any pieces in your room? Im moving into a dorm in January and I am kinda still sketched about how they search your room and if there are places they can't search. Do you even bring green into your room or is it too risky?
as long as you keep it out of view and it doesnt smell you should be fine. they do room inspections monthly, but thyey just walk in, look around and make sure nothings broken or too messy. they can't search through your shit unless the cops are there with a search warrent, whichis what happened here. ^^^person above me, its only a matter of time dude. a bunch of people have already been caught in the newer dorms cause their ventilation runs together, but this is the first time in the older ones. sucks so bad
Yeah this is why if I ever live in the dorms i'm just gonna roll joints and take a walk. Not worth grav bongin it in the bathroom lol, although it would be amusing.
I smoked in my dorm every single day. Literally every one. Never got caught, not once. Had some epic close calls though. My r.a. was a chill dude he even bought off us a few times hahah
wow bro thats a shame sorry about your friends, at least your not in any shit though. i lived in a dorm in chicago last year, they were kinda strict on smoking but i would smoke in my bathroom and take all the precautions. id use a pipe, or a bong (cover the loose smoke), turn the shower on hot and leave it running with soap on the floor (add more soap when your done and let it run for another minute, towels under both bathroom doors, and a towel under the door in your room, and i used a sploof. my roomates and suitemates were cool with it but didnt smoke so i could control how much was smoked in there. oh and dont tell anyone you dont trust. alot of kids i knew got caught but they were just being dumb about it. if your smart with it and your dorms not like a nazi dorm go ahead. my room often smelled like weed too, not bc of smoking but bc of how much bud we had in there lol. me and my roomate only cared if there was a room check but those only happend twice a year with ample warning.
they had been smoking since the beginning of the year, but i h=guess last night, someone somewhere fucked up and shit hit the fan. ill let you guys know once they talk to the dean. theyre waiting for their letters
That is really unfortunate. At my school it is really easy to get away with smokeing in your room. Pack snaps, have febreeze, maybe a towel under the door, and a fan out the window. Very easy to do.
