The Doors movie.

  1. I never knew there was a movie about the doors career until yesterday and I watched it today. I think they messed up on Jim they portrayed him as a total psycho maniac I think they exaggerated his part a bit to much. Jim was a wild one but they took it too far in the movie they didn't really show much of Jim's softer side imo. It was a good movie though I really liked how they made the concerts so wild they made me wish I was there. So for those who have watched it what are your guys' thoughts on the movie?

  4. As a huge Doors fan I don't like the movie obviously for it's portrayal of Jim.
     
  5. Yeah they overdid it they also should have put more time into this movie to make it as best as possible atleast to honor jim. Im sure if jim could see this movie he would be very disappointed.
     
  6. I havent seen it but The Doors are my 4th favorite band of all time PERIOD!

  8. it was a nice movie...but you cant call it a biographical one.. I liked it but i was dissapointed too..

    As others have said, though, It wasn't a very accurate portrayal.
