I was wondering if anyone out there has tried the cool cab "cabby" hydro system? I've been reading up on it. I' sick of dedicating a whole room in my house to my garden, and forget about my pg&e bill, this seems like a great alternitive, but it just seems too good to be true.
It is too good to be true. I bought a cab thinking I just wanted something contained, lockable and ready to plug in, as my clones would be ready by the time it should have taken to ship. THE COMPANY IS AWFUL!!! My cab arrived in beat up condition with a broken lock and missing parts, which I still haven't received. I ordered (and paid in full) Aug. 8th and I'm still waiting on my replacement lock. Product wise it's kinda cool, but all the parts are cheap and you could build yourself one for SOOOOOOOOOOO much less money and have better quality. I hope I didn't burst your bubble, but I was so excited once I decided to buy one, and now I REALLY REALY wish I hadn't. There are lots of great ideas around GC for grow rooms and such. If I could start over, I'd use a utility cabinet, but grow in only two bubble buckets.
I don't think they advertise stealth, but all the fans, airpump, CO2 boost pump does make a lot of noise. It's only "stealth" is it looks like a cabinet and locks but there will always be a little light leakage.
