Boba Fett and Fennec Shand attempt to make a name for themselves in the galaxy's underworld by taking over the territory once controlled by Jabba the Hutt. Easter eggs at Christmas? and more The Mandalorian is on the same time line.. due out 'sometime in 2022? do they cross, ..?
I thought that too mate, the Mandalorian was brilliant, hopefully it gets better there could be a lot of exploration in the underworld
So far this is getting better but I've only seen 2 shows so far, and too think what all the guys in the movie subforum are missing out on, I think its written by the same crowd who did The Mandalorian? note to self He takes his hat off to talk, they learn't something over the Mandalorian lol
Was it not if the mandalorian took his helmet off he was hunted down or banished, can remember what was said in the mandalorian but they addressed the issue
According to Bo-Katan, Din Djarin isn't a true Mandalorian. He is from a break away sect that formed their own rules. The removing of the helmet isn't part of the true Mandalorian custom.
Finale wasn't the worst episode; Spoilers below. The shootout bit was a little drawn out. I guess no one thought to stock up on any of those droid popper things they used in the Clone Wars that were slowly rolled into ray shields, or possibly those no longer exist. Was neat to see the Rancor in action though. Seeing Boba Fett finally deal with Cad Bane was interesting, too. It appears everyone's favorite friend, "baby-Yoda," is back, with some shiny new chain mail. I honestly thought he'd pick the lightsaber. That'll change things up for the Mandalorian in season 3. Seems more and more like Mando's hunting days are over, since you can't carry much cargo in that Naboo starfighter and he's got to tote his little friend along or have babysitters lined up everywhere he goes. My guess is season 3 will be more about trying to find redemption. One last thing; there was a neat, short scene for anyone who stuck through the credits. I'll leave the details on that a mystery to anyone who missed it and wants to go back for a look.
Idk how deep you peeps have ventured into the Star Wars world but I have read a few books outside of the main line. Point being I can easily see how they set up for a show/arc about Luke sky walkers skill for Jedi. In the book like had 2 kids who I believe were his first students. now for the boba fett!!! I have really enjoyed the series and I think it was comparable to first season of mando even though it’s been a while since I watched it. I still have to watch the final episode though.
It was a bit of a weird series. It turned into the Mandalorian for 2 episodes with Boba not even in the episodes lol. Boba felt like a supporting actor in his own show (at least for the 2nd half). But some of the stuff was pretty cool. I love the blue gun-slinger guy. I didn't like the way Luke gave Grogu an ultimatum. I mean why couldn't Grogu do both? Why not have awesome armor AND train as a jedi? Luke knows Jedi aren't invincible and having beskar chainmail could be pretty handy for a jedi.
