Ready To Use Speedy Grow - 131 at The Home Depot All these are available at home depot in case you guys were wondering. Please stick to the list I can't really buy from anywhere else.
Don't know if money is an issue, but you can order the fox farms trio for 48$ off of eBay. That's the best bang for your buck!
Please do not recommend stuff that isn't on the list. I know what is recommended but I am only using home depot. I made the original text bold.
Oh okay haha, you must be an employee! Try to stay away from miracle gro products, it will burn your plant because its full of nutes! Hope your grow goes well.
4 Oz. SUPERthrive® - 10072532000145 at The Home Depot not on your list but they sell it at homedepot. i dont use it, but i have heard other people on here talking about it.
Out of all, the Espoma products will do you best and are very high quality. Perhaps the fish, if smell is not an issue. It really stinks. Wet
Stinks as in my grow box will smell or the whole attic? (Has a window and a door sometimes it's open)
Stinks as in I only used it once inside and my wife told me I'd lose my balls if I ever used it again, inside. It's not very expensive, and if you have any outdoor plants you can use it on them if it's too much for the house. It is good stuff besides the smell. OTOH, you can do your whole grow with the Epsoma, no problem. Wet
Bringing this back from the dead to ask a noob question since my search results didn't quite give me the answer. I currently am using the Espoma liquid line with MG Organic mixed with perlite. Would I be ok to just use the Espoma line for the grow by itself or should I try to find something else to go along as well? Espoma Start 24 oz. Liquid Plant Food-100523830 - The Home Depot
I made my first mistake using miracle grow! You don't want to use soil with time release Nutes! Are you asking about soil or Nutes? Home Depot has plenty of plain potting soils, besides MG, that you can use! I think you need to research about soils and nutrients. But you live and learn! people that commented above are just trying to help you! I asked the same question 6 months ago. I was told Friends don't let friends grow with Miracle grow. Try Lowes, they may have Espoma products. A potting soil usually has enough Nutes in it for 3-4 weeks. No MG if you want to see pictures of a MG grow I can show you my plants? And the problems I've had....... Good Luck with what ever you go with Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum mobile app
You should definitely post a couple pics of the the Miriclae grow problems. I started mine in half sort and half MG soil. And then after planting in strait dirt I used some MG nutrients. I was listening to some one who told me a little bit of something is better than allot of nothing. But I'd like to see the results of using it long term for sure.
I'm using the Nature's Care potting mix from MG. On the package, nothing is said about it containing time release ferts. That was the main reason I chose this. I will finish out this grow and look into getting some FFOF for the next round. EDIT : Just looked online on amazon and saw what you mean about the time release ferts. Is nitrogen being time release a bad thing?
It could be, because it could get to much N at once witch could cause Nitrogen dificency or toxicity meaning you could get nute lock out. Then you'll need to flush, but you never know you may have better Luck then me! It was just my one plant that gave me problems the other was fine my whole grow! I'll send you pictures. Btw: your best off with FFOF IMO! Good Luck
I think the 2nd picture was my 1st deficiency. I flushed then let her dry out. She came back tho to be a Bush! The plant on the left I never had a problem with. Hope it helps! Btw: they weren't in order, you can go on U-tube and look under MG grows. I seen a video of a guy using 3 different soils, it was sort of demineralization I think he used MG organic, FFOF, and Roots organic. I'll try to find it, it was a cool video.
