The Bendy Straw Theory

Discussion in 'General' started by Royal Vengeance, Jul 31, 2014.

  1. My roommate and I noticed recently a lot of our favorite food places have recently started carrying bendy straws again. We then wondered why bendy straws originally disappeared and the only thing we could figure out was the recession. Places couldn't afford bendy straws. So the assumption we came to was the more bendy straws we see the better the economy is doing.

    Discuss. :p

  2. i have a big ol bag of them in my kitchen drawer

  3. I have never noticed if the straws are bent or not. I only use straws with fast food cups.

  4.
Probably as valid an economic theory as I've ever seen.

  5. Okay, I just got rid of my roth IRA and put it all in bendy straws.
So when do I get my money?

  6. I too take note of straw quality. It's a weird habit where I'll just be drinking something and be like "damn this beverage would go great with a McDonalds straw"

  7. i hate when straws have a hole in them.

  9. But then it'd be a bendy stick.

  10. Even worse the ones that if you bend them they break and suck up air so you cant drink from them. Thats just bad straw engineering.

You know youre on a stoner forum when people discuss bendy straws in a completely serious way  Fucking potheads
