If there was really an answer to why we are here, is there a higher power, ect. Would you really want to know? It seems everything we work for is just so we can advance in science to uncover the answers. If we had the option to know, I feel it would either be an extremely lonely, faithless reality, or it turns out to be something we will find completely amazing. I think as long as you have an answer, the reason for living would die out. Opinions?
I liked the quote above this post. But I also think that like you said, knowing everything would ruin the fun. It's like a dog chasing its own tail. If he actually caught the tail, not only would he be one sorry bastard but it would ruin the fun, nothing to chase. Its a bit frustrating for the dog, but better than biting your own tail.
Yes I would want to know!! So far I think that we had no god that we just sort of happened over millions of hundreds of years lol. So in essence, if we weren't GIVEN life, then that in a sense makes life meaningless and THAT my friends, makes life something that is to be cherished way more than most people can imagine.
The answer to the ultimate question of life the universe and everything is "42". Douglas Adams taught me that.
I think I would want to know. Although I think that much knowledge would make you a god yourself, and they say there can be only one God. So you do the math. I myself believe in a higher power, but not necessarily the God from the Catholic church.
I'd like to think I already know there is a higher power. And it's you, and it's me. I can't wait till we're all one again I mean, I'm all one again.
If there was answer to everything, I don't see how it could be the answer to every situation. That's impossible.
I can see why some think reality is an illusion of sort. A space/time that the observer can really interact with. It all seems to make to much sense, in the sense that you literally, sense reality. This leads to idea that there is a potential purpose that exists outside of reality that governs the laws of reality in the universe. The meshing of everything in existence gives the observer a sense of oneness with the universe, because, as a whole, existence is that ONE flip that lands on potential, rather then non-existent potential(absolute nothingness). i get the impression that this universe had a beginning, this is proven by radiation from heat, during the initial reaction, it just wasn't conscious of it's own reality until it evolved a consciousness. The human consciousness is the most important we know, because, it's our own. An observer is born into reality with an individual consciousness. We assume that when an individual consciousness dies, that because they became conscious of reality, they can never become unconscious of it. Freewill is relative to the observer. They can think they have freewill or not. 'Nothing' can be proven to exist outside reality of the universe. MY explanation to existence is simple, we exist because the universe exists. The universe exists because it just does. The potential of the observers reality is reviled through an observers applied ideas to reality, the ideas that work pass on through generations, as well as the ideas that don't work, not to an absolute truth, because frankly the only 'absolute' truth is that existence exists, instead of nothing existing. Something expanded from 'absolute nothingness' to create a space/time reality. The expansion was caused by a reaction. The reaction was because, 'absolute nothingness' can't exist. There is always potential for something to exist, like the universe. This is proven true by our existence. again, infinity is a human created idea. we can not fully comprehend what infinity is, nor can we fully comprehend what nothingness is. ihave many explanations on existence
I really like how you put it how nothing can't exist, so there had to be this universe. Also, I like how you put it in perspective by saying that infinity and nothingness are both human creations. Good stuff in here.
in my mind, its alot harder to comprehend absolute nothingness than infinity. just try to wrap your head around the universe never coming into existence. nothing.
Yes, there is, by studying your mind, by thinking, you can come to the fundamental conclusions about how we form reality, and by using those clues, simulate the primary functions of reality to understand what it is.
Now what really blows my mind is, why does all substance exist? Why is it here, Why is there not nothingness? The simple way is to say, "it just exists", but truly, why is there something rather than nothing, and where did it come from?
because, i am her feathers, shes fly, flyer than you and flyer than me. i love her, she loves me too. i love her three times 50/50 flip heads-potential tails- nothingness keep flipping you get a universe
More than that, is Existence one? Or is it divided? Does it in-fluctuate with consistent unions and divisions? Is it just a combination of substances, existing at the same time? Can the coin split, and you get both sides at the same time? Aikido or Wushu?
