The all in one meter?

    High All,

    I hope I have posted this in the right place, If not Sorry!

    I was looking through Ebay yesterday and I saw THIS all in one meter which measures PH,EC,TDS and temperature. I e-mailed the guy and he hasn't bothered to e-mail back. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these meters before? and if they are a good growing tool ( The one I would get would measure TDS in PPM not PPT) all for £81.00 postage included. The only thing I was wondering is if they can measure PH,EC etc direct from soil?

    Is it a wothwhile investment for this price or can I get better for the same or less?

    Please tell me what you think.

    :hello: mallet,

    I've used the meter your talking about and it works fine for hydroponics, but it won't work for soil testing. It works fine for PH, EC, & TDS. If your growing in soil you can purchase ph meters for that purpose as well. They usually cost less. Hope this helps. Good luck.

    I have a soil pH meter I got at a local homestore for like $10. Works reasonably well.

    Thanks for the info guys,

    I have bought a soil PH tester a while back (non - digital version) but I'm paranoid that it isn't accurate enough. The needle sits just under 7 when it is not in use - is this right?
    ALso can this type of non-digital meter take readings from soil and water just as accurate?
