Im excited to see this, I have thought of doing this in the past. The thing is you could install a dimmer switch, have multiple banks with on/off switch, and even mix/ match the spectrum exactly how you want.
Subbed for this, looks like a fun diy in my future and I like the dimmer switches and banked in groups idea.
Nice I’ll watch to. I made one but took the LED’s out of the light. Seems easier then all those different light fixtures. Mine are LED flood lights. 3000k. Just waiting on a damn driver to finish it up...
Some of the more high end LED bulb manufactures make bulbs that product 150 lumens-a-watt; so it is possible to construct a light like this that is acceptable. Other than that you will smoke flourecents.
