sup 420ers? I'm flying to Atlanta tonight. My husband has a new job there so he's going to be spending a bit of time in Georgia. He spent his teen/young adult life in Macon, GA. So this weekend I go meet the extended friend family. I'm actually a little bit intimidated to meet these folks. I really want them to like me. They are such an important part of my husband's life. He's extremely sentimental of his good friendships due to the fact that he has lost everything he owned a couple of times in his life. Friendship was the only thing that made it through to rough patches. Anywho, I don't think they would dislike me but I bitch about politics and media a lot in person. These people don't watch the news much less pick up a newspaper. What if they think I'm a total bitchy twat. haha My husband was with a handful of them the other night. I called to tell him goodnight and he put me on speaker phone. You would have thought I were the deer in the headlights. I was as silent as a mouse, which is 100% unlike me. I don't know what the fuck to think of myself or the situation. Plus my husband already has a 1/4 for me (because he is the fucking best husband in the history of the world) so I'm wondering if my stoned paranoia is going to get the best of me. I've already spewed to my husband about my worry that they won't like me. He said I have nothing to worry about, [add the usual good husband comments, you're lovely dear, everyone is going to think you're great...]see he does RULE but that doesn't mean I buy all that. lol I just hope everything goes smoothly. Well I guess the upside is that I will have weed. Yes I am just killing time before I go to the airport.

Thanks KSR. It turned out to be a fantastic time. I was almost too stoned to care what was going on, but everyone was really just so cool. A lot of very 'real' people. Gotta love that. My husband posted a little blurb about it in his blog. hehe It's pretty cute. Recently, I have been fortunate enough to visit some old friends than I havent seen in a long time, and introduce them to my wife. As travel is often tiresome...visiting with them has made this most recent trip so worthwhile, and by worthwhile I mean besides a paycheck, and a place to keep my crap. I introduced them to my wife....and what did she do? She got'em high. Damn pothead.
