I have an absolutely massive male in my grow bow right now... Seems like it would be a waste to just chop it up and throw it away. Is there enough THC in the stalk/leaves to make a tincture? Anything at all that I could do with it?
I wouldnt even mess with the males. Ive heard of people making hash out of em but i doubt its even worth the effort.

Males do contain THC but not alot. When I am desperate I vaporize the leaves that I have collected. You at least feel a little stoned and it gets me by. Then again my tolerance is very low since it could be a number of weeks before I get the urge. I would think that making butter out of them would be the way to go.
yeah ive bin unlucky and had 8 out of ten seeds to be male .i chopped them as soon as they showed there balls lol i dryed them out cut them up with sciccors really fine and smoked them ,i wouldnt say they got me totaly stoned but they kind of stopped my urge for a while , i had to keep asking myself wether i was stoned or not which imo means ur not .anyway they didnt give me a headache or anything so no hrm done.
My thoughts exactly. You should definitely kill it because it will polinize your females, which will decrease THC content and give you seedy buds. Just make ISO oil (where you make hash oil with isopropyl alcohol) or use any other method to make hash (there are instructions in the Seasoned Toker's board). Other than that you can also make cannabutter, and use it to cook .
Ok cool, I'll go ahead and do an acetone extraction. I did that with the trim from my last harvest and got a pretty heady batch of oil.
