A woman had 50 yard line tickets for the Super Bowl. As she sat down, a man came along and asked her if anyone is sitting in the seat next to her. "No," she said, "the seat is empty." "This is incredible," said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Super Bowl, the biggest sporting event in the world, and not use it?" Somberly, the woman says, "Well... the seat actually belongs to me. I was supposed to come here with my husband, but he passed away. This is the first Super Bowl we have not been to together since we got married in 1967." "Oh I'm sorry to hear that, that's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else - a friend or relative or even a neighbor to take the seat?" The woman shakes her head, "No, they're all at the funeral." I bet he would have wanted her to be there too.
Oh hell yeah he would have...they've been to every bowl. If that was me i would do the same, and if it was my wife i would want her to do the same. Packer fans are unmatched. There are no fans in the entire world who are as dedicated to their team as we are. We own our team, not some rich, old wrinkly white dude. Honestly, Packers fans are one of a kind. And any other person who claims that the Packer's fan base isnt the greatest in world, first of all isnt a packers fan, and secondly they just have no clue what it is like to be a fellow cheesehead. Im a cheesehead and proud of it. GO PACK GO
Browns fans are greater than or equal to in terms of dedication. I'm one... Our team hasn't gone far in decades...
no but it's funny how many more people like the pats (example) since they started winning. they also feel the need to tell everyone. i got called a band waggin fan by my friend the other day and i had him drop me off at home i was so pissed.
I actually liked the Pats until they started doing shitty. This was since the year they played the Rams back like 10 years ago or so. But I'm not really even into football. Basketball is much more entertaining for me.
That may be true. But i can only speak for Packer fans. and speaking of packer fans....Idk if any of you have seen the VISA commercials with the 4 fans who have been to every super bowl...well one of them live in Wisconsin and was obviously a packer fan...but he couldnt make to the game because he was in the hospital...this probably would have been his favorite of all 45
Wow thats a bummer secondly, that sucks to be all like yea i never miss a super bowl ever n what not and then look, you are in the hospital.
Sucks even more that he was on a commercial about not missing one. If I was that guy, I would have skipped out and went. Because if he was a Packers fan, dude deserves that ticket.
The funny thing about this wildly simplistic and tiring story is that you can substitute any team for Packers. Real original.
Ehhh. We traded him for a 3rd. Which in turn got traded to New England with two other draft picks for a 1st rounder that turned out to be Clay Matthews. So thanx Brett for leaving us
