Texas lawmakers are looking to push a bill titled 88(R) SB 1029, which seeks to ban hormone treatment for all individuals in the state, would sue doctors who have prescribed hormonal care after the act is passed, and would force said doctors to pay for the client’s detransitioning. This means that it effectively becomes illegal to own hormones for transitioning purposes in the state without an illegal purchase. Fairly disturbing. I hope people can hang in there or get somewhere better.
