There are chemical tests that are supposed to be fairly accurate if done properly. They are not exspensive compaired to profession lab tests but it is still a few hundred dollars for a kit that will do many tests.

I've been looking at this one for a few years and will probably soon be using it. I've had a local lab that I've used but that is no longer an option. This is called "thin layer chromatography" and would work well for tinctures.
Nah man you need some high tech expensive shit for that. Nothing "consumer grade" like that available. Just keep it old school and go by feel. It'll be alright. Although if you are in a legal state you may be able to send it to a lab yourself possibly if you want to look into that. Chances are it will be more money and hassle than it's worth though but could be something to look into if you have the cash and it's really important to you.
