testers/lights question

    thanks for the advice.

    the only reason i'm looking to get that light is because my grow area is pretty small and i'm worried about a 400 watt light getting too hot. i'm only looking to grow one or two plants at most in a 2 1/2' x 1 1/2' area. i'm under the impression that a 150 watt hps would be good enough for that.

    hey green,

    i would suggest that you dont buy that pH meter. pH is not something to overlook or shrug off, its a very imortant factor to a good grow. Even though that has a 2 point calibration on it, and it already comes with 2 calibration packets - for 4 dollars I dont think your ever going to get an accurate reading.

    im not saying it wont work, or read accuratly .. but IMHO that thing looks like junk.

    I recommend using the hanna pH ep family ... they are like 40 dollars - and they work GREAT.
