I've only ever grown indoors. I start outdoors in a solo cup and then bring it inside when it's ready to transfer to a felt pot. Then the Happy Frog is added, the LED panel/driver is turned on and slowly raised throughout the grow, a timer is added and then I just water as needed. I've had good results with Nectar for the Gods nutes but my grows have done well without them as well. Over the summer we completely renovated our basement. So now we have a ton of space to work with. I'd like to buy a phone booth sized tent just to grow one plant. We get far too much for personal use already so two or more plants (space) just isn't needed. Would really appreciate all in one kits that would: 1. Allow me to hang my LED panel 2. Have the ability to block out all light 3. Come with any ventilation/fan needed 4. Be of good quality so I can use it for several grows. 5. Be available on Amazon so if I get it and there's an issue, free returns and no hassles. If it matters, C99 is what I grow. Thanks!!!
Honestly, I don’t like those packages. If you can piece it together by opinion, is that the best way to do it.. not only will you get better equipment you can still save some money I am also running head band, crossword Cinderella 99 as well. My absolute first suggestion would be to hit the Internet and look for a good deals on LEDs bed with Samsung or a Osram Diodes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Hyu
Not sure what you mean by LEDs bed. My boards and drivers are top notch though so won't be replacing those. But maybe the "bed" is different. Like I said, only need to figure out a tent and maybe ventilation....was hoping there would be decent kits that figure that out for me. Thanks
Ooops! I meant “MADE” with. Lol. But it seems like you already have that covered. What size are you looking for? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I pieced together my 4x4 w a vivosun tent, AC INFINITY exhaust -T6 LiTE slays a 4x4- I also have an AC infinity fan that clips to the tent poles and oscillates above the canopy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
2x2.. possibly 3 x 3, depending on your limitations and your lighting, obviously the T6 inline LITE by AC INFINITY light I speak of is actually pretty cheap and, you can get the smaller model for smaller tent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's the name of the tent? I'm getting light links when I google that. I need the tent and vent as far as I know.
Honestly, with the tent that small. - don’t get one of the cheap knock off Chinese Amazon ones.. get an AC infinity, VIVOSUN, or Gorilla grow tent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That helps!! I'll look into those brands and see what I can find. Just curious but what are the differences in material/quality with the $400 tents vs. the knock offs? Like what are examples of failures with the junk? Thanks!
Honestly, the ones that are really cheap are very prone to Light Leaks. That’s really the main issue is there not made properly and the zippers are all messed up and have tiny pinholes so, possible for those bullshit ones to make your plants hermie from light stress in flower. — I believe the better company ones are made with a thicker fabric, and usually some type of guard behind the zipper.. honestly, if you’re only getting a 2 x 2 tent, you should be able to find one for under $100 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah, honestly man indoor is really fun when you can’t grow outdoors.. my buddy has a lot of farm property , so in addition to the tent, we’re also going to set up a couple raised beds outdoors next season good luck! Keep me updated I have a journal on here. This is the headband crossed with C99 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have a pair of the old style Lighthouse Hydro 4x8 tents with METAL poles and corner pieces. My tents are a actual 4x8 tents, but after the years the zipper is not working on one tent. I only use active air inline fans with a speed controller. Not wild about buying a kit...........
Buckethead129 spot on. Just go to amazon and type in AC Infinity grow tent. Pick the size you want and if needed look at their packages and order that fan size that is in the kit separately if needed. I usually oversize my fan size and dial it back down with a fan controller for $30ish. That way you have options in future. Second, you can do the same thing by typing in Mars Hydro and check out their packages. Do the same thing as above. Most of the stuff you will see out there is mid grade Chinese stuff so dont worry too much about one being far superior to the other. I used Gorilla tents in past before they had the "lite" versions. I could tell the difference in quality back then. Now, their new stuff (lite) is a bit better than the aforementioned companies but not for the price point IMHO. When looking for a tent, you want as many ports and zippered opening as possible to service your garden. With a phone booth size tent, these things are not as important. I did recently purchase an AC infinity fan, carbon filter, and muffler as well as an oscillating tent fan. Well packaged and good looking equipment. One thing I did notice about the AC Infinity exhaust fans is that the type of fan they use produces great cfm numbers for its size and sound level, but the fan technology they use loses cfm faster than other brands when you add a few corners in ducting or the the exhaust ducting run is a little long( head pressure). FWIW. enjoy!
Thanks for sharing all that! Was curious about the "controller" as the fan kits didn't seem to come with one but I was seeing it on all the grow tents. With the LED board/driver.... do all the tents come with a pulley system built in to raise and lower the board throughout the grow? If not, what is that mechanism called? Other than mounting the light, "controller", and a fan to circulate/cool....what else would I need to buy if I didn't buy one of the $300-$500 kits? Thanks!
things you need to start(forgot what you already have): plants...either clones or seeds Light source grow light yoyo hangers tent 6 inch or 4 inch clothes dryer ducting depending on fan size pots soil exhaust fan carbon filter small clip fan for circulating air in tent The aforementioned will get you growing. The other things I list here only help your endeavor: drain saucers under pots ph meter nutrients a trellis net watering can or bottle or something to get water to plants small pruning scissors timer for lights air conditioner if grow area gets too hot heater if grow area gets too cold patience--lots of it If you go hydroponics, I defer to other forum members.
