Tent in closet with carbon filter questions

So if I put a tent in my closet and have carbon filter and fan sucking air out and just into the closet. Does my carbon filter put off co2 and could set of an co2 alarm?

idk if this is dumb but im serious will it set off a co2 alarm in the hall way outside the bedroom

 

Please someone. I don't have anywhere to send my air once it's carbon filtered out the tent so if it's just going out into my apartment does it let off co2 or is that the opposite of what it does lol I'm sry im dumb
