I was finally able to pick up some ducting for my cooltube this morning, and after about a day with the ducting hooked up, the temperature hasn't dropped at all. The temperature sits at around 80-86 with lights on, and at night drops almost 20 degrees to 63-67!! Will this cause my plants to hermie, or cause them any harm? And how can I make it cooler in there? I cannot afford an inline fan of any sort until the next grow unfortunately, so that's out of the question. I also bought a humidifier to put in the room, and so far the humidity hasn't even raised 1%. I'm thinking I need to pick up a new Hygrometer...

Edit; Would it be possible to slowly change the schedule an hour a day, until the lights turn on at 6pm, and off at noon?

You need a fan to vent the hot air out of the grow area. A cool tube simply hooked to ducting has no benefit. If you tent is 20 above ambient temps then that is about the only solution.

63 to 67 is great for lights off temp, you need to get the day time temp down below 80 if possible. Hermie issues would be possible I suppose but I would be more worried about harming the yield.

Yea, you can change the light cycle slowly, or as long as they are in veg just change it. They don't really need to be transitioned into new light cycle hours.

  3. Damn, I guess I'm going to have to deal with it until next grow. That's unfortunate :(
Also, do you know if I can switch the light schedule so their on at night, rather than during the day?
