Marijuana should be a hot topic in Tennessee politics seeing that Tennessee ranks 2nd in growing the most weed of the 50 states. California, of course ranks 1st. Marijuana is the number one cash crop in TN. The current governor Bill Haslam is severely anit-pot. however i know several of the senators from the west TN (memphis) area are pro medical marijuana, west tn being more liberal than other parts of tn. Any progress no matter how slow is still progress. Remember it was the tortoise who won the race.
I just hope you are right. It would be nice if the other reps from Tennessee were like Steve Cohen. If they were I think that we would be a lot closer then we are now.
