temps

  1. Hey. Getting started growing again and I'm trying to calibrate the temp in my box. Currently, with the one exhaust fan I'm using the temp is around 26-28C/79-82F. If I add an active intake I can push it further down to maybe like 23-25C. Problem is, I'm trying to keep it as silent as possible and the one fan is already making too much noise. Will a few degrees less have a signifiant effect on yield and potency?

  2. If you're temps are dropping by adding an intake fan, then your intake hole(s) are too small. Try making your passive intakes bigger and you'll likely be able to go with just the exhaust fan. GL!

  3. an easy way to lower temps in tight spots is putting a container with water (anything from paper cup to gallon-jug) into the freezer, freeze it solid and put it in there with a fan blowing on it...
24-26C is pretty much ideal, over 30C is too hot, under 20C too cold (daytime temps btw)...
also, silenced ducting can help reduce fan-noise...
