Hey guys just a quick question, I have a closet set up with ducting taking hot air out exhausting to the attic and ducting coming through the wall from a window. my question is i have a timer set up to the exhaust fan and the time is in increments of 15 minutes. When ever the room heats up it get around 80 then when the fan turns on for 15 minutes it cools down to around 68 degrees. Is this temperature change to extreme for the plants or are they all good? Thanks
I don't mean to sound like a dick, but its only a 12 degree difference And OP, I'd try to maybe wait til it gets to 85 and hope turning the fan on for 16 minutes only drops it down to 75. I think that would be a good range for you.
hahaha what you know it is, i dont know what i was thinking. but hey if you cant laugh at yourself then who can you laugh at. you could always just shorten the time the fan is on too
Ganjafarmer, If you can afford about 60 bucks, this device can be dialed in to keep your grow space at whatever temp you set it to. I use one to control an A/C unit in my grow room, but it will work great to cycle your fans on and off. HTH chunk
