is 85 during the 12/12 ok? temp seems to rise to around 92 when lights go off? any input. This is a hydro grow.
85 isn't too bad. You really want it around 78 though. It's not going to kill your plants or anything, might affect yield a bit. Why would the temp rise when the lights are off? Doesn't make sense.
No the temp is rising. It has me puzzled. I have an exhaust fan, 2 twelve inch fans and a carbon scrubber running. I have one fan blowing right on the light. I got the day temp down to 87. Any suggestions on getting it down to 78. Thanks for the help. The plants are not showing any signs of stress but you mentioned the yeild? I dont want to mess that up. I could probably leave the door open during the day phase but at night there are other lights in the next room that will effect the girls.
Are you using a passive intake now? Adding an active intake aka intake fans helps greatly to lower the temperature.
