So I started with cfls and my temps were 78-82 then switched to a 400w mh and temps are bordering 85-88. Obviously these are high, I plan on getting a larger fan but can this plant grow in such high heat, with the mh, the humidity is 36% compared to 27 before.
Your plants will slowly start to wither away at the high temps. It will also affect yield because of the heat stress and can also cause sex changing due to stress. What kind of hood/reflector do you have for your 400w. How many plants how far is the light from your plants
Did this for my closet, check out my photo gallery. Amazon for everything including the 6 inch mylar tubing and it cost about 90$ shipped. Remeber to high a temp can kill your plant, or it could just massivly stunt its growth which isnt really good either. Edit: i realized i said high temp Cant kill your plant, but it can, it was a typo... sorry...
Whoa, let's check something first -- do you just have a fan in your grow space, or do you have true ventilation drawing in fresh cool and and exhausting warm stale air? If the former then adding more/bigger fans won't do squat.
in a closet thats not closed and ac runs directly into the room, two doors for the air to vent out of.
You might just need a fan then bringing fresh air in from the room that the closet is attached to. its like a giant lung room Try one of those tower fans, plus it is good to circulate the air in the room anyways
