Hey All, If anyone could please give me some advice on how to control the temperature and humidity for my closet. The current temp is at 82.1 degrees and humidity is unknown. I am using a 20w grow lamp that is normally used for tomatoes. Once the girls are moved to their permanent home, they will be under two 1000w hps. This will produce a lot of heat! Ventillation I know is key but I need some more advice. Any help would be great, thanks.
why not try some air ducts and a fan to control heat and as for humidity are you trying to lower or higher the humidity?
Thanks for replying, Currently I have one fan set up that keeps the temp down to about 79-81 degrees. As for humidity I was trying to raise it, since it seemed too dry in the closet, so I filled a plastic bowl with water and left it in there to evaporate. I think I still need better air flow and now I've got bigger problems. Miracle grow is bad, don't let anyone tell you it is good. It takes you right out of control, I think two of my plants are getting chemical burn and I need to flush them. The leaves are turning yellow just after being planted in the new soil for 2 days. If anyone has any great tips on how to flush plants please let me know, I don't want to attempt it myself and drown them. Thanks
Because it is a closet grow, opening the door will change the environment.. Also, 20w doesnt seem like enough to feed a plant. NP
if your growing with coco coir you can use canna coco flush you canget it on ebay for a reasonable price.
Does the humidity and the temperature remain the same for each stage of growth? I.e. 80 degrees for veg and 80 degrees for flowering? Same with the humidity? Thanks, U.
Does the humidity and the temperature remain the same for each stage of growth? I.e. 80 degrees for veg and 80 degrees for flowering? Same with the humidity? Thanks, U.
Temps are fine to stay within the same range. Plants usually like slightly higher humidity in veg, and a lower humidity is better in flower to avoid mold issues.
