08*- Almost all woods known to man are toxic . Moisture is a issue in wood pipes ,, briar wood is most traditional wood used in making wooden pipes . Wooden pipes can get mold and fungi growing in the wood pores . Most of the time the wood taste destroys the taste of good reefer . I line all my wooden pipes with glass brass or aluminum tubing .
