Hey guys I've been smoking for a few years, just signed up after finding this site on google since I discovered a great new way in ingest marijuana, and I was curious if anyone already knew about it or wanted to offer more suggestions on the technique? Basically I thought maybe marijuana is actually a tea class plant and that information has been censored by the feds. So I brewed some tea with some random buds & shake I had laying around, basically I put the buds (about a gram) in a cup with some cold water, and heated the water in the microwave with the buds in it for about 5 minutes until it was boiling, with occasional stirring and checking to make sure the buds were properly waterlogged and not burning. Boiling water in a tea kettle then pouring it over the buds also works, and it's helpful to have a filter, either a coffee filter or a french-press style filter, to remove the particles and buds after soaking in the hot water for a while, as per tea or coffee. Having tried this technique, I have to say the quality of the intoxication is much, much better, it's easy on my lungs, there is no cost other than water and heat and a bit of time, and it's pretty tasty, especially with a pinch of sugar. I'd drink tea exclusively, except it does use up a ton more pot than smoking it does, although I haven't really tried smaller amounts of pot in the water for no particular reason, although the strong teas I've been having have been really amazing. Anyways, no reason not to try this, although it does 'use up' the buds in that if you try to smoke already brewed/soaked buds they won't smoke right, even if you dry them out. Anyways, someone should e-mail the tea party, they need a new banner. ;p I wonder if there's any other neat tea-class (or drug-class) plants that are like pot but totally unknown?
Why do you think that? Are you just repeating the man's propaganda, or do you have any specific evidence or personal experience to site? I have tried this technique and it works great, and several people around me have also enjoyed it immensely.
