Hey organics! My name is ThedankH or just TDH for short and this is going to chronicle my journey into the wonderful world of organics but before that let me tell you a little about me. I've been growing for almost two years now first in a closet then I moved to tents because of there ease of use and mobility, I don't have as much space as I would like a room and a half I would say and the other half being my large bathroom but I utilize the space I have very well. Right now I actually don't have my own soil mix, I'm currently using Roots organic formula 707, which for those who don't know is a out of the bag super soil. Even though it doesn't have ALL the necessary amendents it definitely gets the job done. Don't worry though I am working on putting together my own soil mix I just need a little more time and $ lol. but enough about that ill get on to my setup. - 2, 4x4 tents - 1 for flowering 1 for veg and mothers. - 1 cloning tent with 3 humidity domes with t-5 fluorescents - 250w Hps, an all in one ballast - 600w air cooled hood, Hps bulb and 600w nano xtreme ballast. - 2, 6inch inline fans - 1, 2x2 secret jardin dr 60 tent, with a 150 Hps. - Roos organic soil formula 707 And a lg dehumidifier with a 64 pint a day capacity. I use airpots for my pots and I use the 1.75 liter the 12.5 and 24.5 liter airpots. Those might not be the EXACT liters they are but it's close. Because the company that makes the airpots is based in Europe I believe that's why they are measured in liters not gallons. I also have a bottle of FF:Grow Big for nitrogen deficiency and some liquid guano for phosphorus. like I said I'm working on my own soil mix so I can stop using any bottled nutrients and stick to a well amended soil and some teas, but I haven't learned to make those yet. Right now I have 3 strains 2 of which I have in flower. I know people say this quite often but I really believe the strains I have are a very unique phenotypes considering some of the origins of these strain but more on that later, enough rambling though here I go. My 3 strains are: Gods gift, A.k.a Queen of the forest Indica dominant hybrid 6-7 week flowering time. Purple Thai Indica dominant hybrid with a unique Thai smell 8 weeks flowering time Interesting fact, It Also tested out at 8.5% cbd and 11% thc. Grape ape - Acquired in Mendocino from a friend Indica dominant 7-8 weeks flowering time. So... That's pretty much it for now here's a few pictures I'm on day 9 of flowering. So obviously I'm going to continue to update this as frequently as possible with all my progress. Hey Quick update, It's now Day 12 for my Ladies and i just finished spraying with neem for the last time.
Day 18 Still looking good! I hope everyone had a great new years!! Today I pretty much spent the day in my veg tent clearing out dead and lower leaves and doing a general spray with Azamax everywhere, Im still trying to combat thrips. :rolleye: At any rate i'm lucky I don't have any in my flower Tent, pretty soon I plan on moving a girl from my veg tent into my flower because i'm trying to get a cycle going so I harvest at least every 2-3 weeks my question is when should I bring my next girl in 14 days? 28 days? -TDH
