i received this email today please donate \/ this is the link Tax Cannabis 2010 | Contribute Dear Friend, It'll be all over the news soon, but I wanted you to know first: Just a few minutes ago, California Secretary of State Debra Bowen officially certified the Regulate, Control, and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010 for inclusion on the November 2 ballot! This is truly an historic day. For the first time ever, Californians will soon have the chance to vote to legalize and tax cannabis -- moving beyond the failed policies of the past, while making our communities safer and reducing California's annual deficit by over $1 billion. We've worked so hard to get to this point, and now we're just nine months away from victory. Can you chip in $10, right now, to make sure we win on November 2? Please contribute $10 to the Tax & Regulate Cannabis campaign today! Make no mistake about it: We can win in November. 56% of Californians already support legalizing, taxing, and regulating cannabis. But we need your support, right now, to start building a campaign that will reach out and educate millions more Californians about why our state must pass the Regulate, Control, and Tax Cannabis Act -- and get all of these voters to the polls on Election Day. Running a statewide campaign is certainly an expensive proposition. But with the voters on our side and victory in sight, we can't let that stop us. We need your help, today, to get this important campaign off the ground. Please make an immediate secure contribution of $10 to the Tax & Regulate Cannabis campaign right now! I can't thank you enough for your support. We couldn't have gotten this far without you. But now that we're officially on the ballot, we've got to keep pushing and fighting all the way to victory. Good post. That being said, California is safely on the ballot, for those out-of-state who are looking to help donate towards marijuana reform please don't forget about Washington state, you can donate at sensiblewashington.org and with our campaign we're 100% volunteer only and completely grassroots so we don't have any paid signature gatherers like California did so we could really use the help. We're doing really good thus far as far as spreading the word and getting signatures but we have very little money for anything and the 5 who wrote the initiative (one being the founder of Hempfest) are paying most everything out of pocket for what we can afford. Once we get our signatures in on July 2nd then you can shove some dough Cali's way!
Hey guys. If you support the right to make your own choices and support this vote, please add this page to facebook. The more people we can get to support this movement, the more educated we can make ourselves, and the more people we can educate, the better our chances of winning this vote. Let's rewrite the history books. Legalize California!!! 11/2/2010 | Facebook
