Taproot seems to have died after planting

  1. I planted my seed after germinating in the soil I used to grow last time. After not seeing a seedling pop up for a few days I pulled up the seed to find half of the taproot seems to have died and shriveled up. The rest is a reddish brown color. Is there anything I can do to save it? Peroxide? This is the only seed that germinated out of four bag seeds so I’m really hoping it’s salvageable

  2. The soil was probably too hot

  3. That one won't be pulling a Lazurus, it's a goner. Try again with New soil.

  4. Update for anyone interested, I flushed the soil with hydrogen peroxide and water, moved it somewhere less cold and she’s shooting right up!
