    Hi all,

My bubba kush plants are 2-3 weeks away from harvest (still mostly all green, no fading).

I wanted to know your opinions on whether it's better to flush the coco in the last week with only water and no nutes, or is it better to slowly taper the PPM over the last couple weeks. I've even heard some people say they feed full strength until harvest.

    experienced advice greatly appreciated

  4. Gotcha, do you reduce PPM towards the end or keep everything the same?

  5. Flushing is not necessary . I feed them right to the end. After all a starving plant would send all of the nutrients it could to the buds in a final bid for survival.

  7. “He feed them right” lol… what? Depends on your mediums but sure to feed it right, just not wrong because that’s not good.

  9. Yes, I'm not the heaviest feeder. 1.6 ec -1.8 is my usual strength. And yes to the end.

  11. Agreed, my last coco grow ended up with 1/2 pound off a bcn critical xxl auto. Fed a little over half strength towards the end with no issues in a 3 gal fabric pot. I saw that they did a study debunking the flush. It's more about the drying and curing. I didn't flush at all, I thought I messed up bad because the first few days after drying it didn't taste good but once cured for a week they tasted fine and even better after a month. I wouldn't waste your time with flushing. But if you do flush it's just ph water.

  12. black2grey, that was a beautiful plant! Those pics you posted inspired me to order five feminized seeds from the same vendor. Four of them sprouted two weeks ago and they're looking great. Just wanted to say thanks!
