  1. I am attempting an organic grow I have been using bottled spring water but now that I flipped I really cannot afford to keep buying it I filled a tub of water and let it sit for 48 hours the ppms are at 200 and ph about 7 question really is how long before the chlorine evaporates and is this a bad idea I am not buying filters or a Ro system thanks for any input these girls are using about 15 gallons a week IMG_20231221_085511132_HDR.jpg IMG_20231221_085654006_HDR.jpg IMG_20231221_085646436_HDR.jpg

  2. Unnecessary to evaporate the chlorine. I've used tap water for decades and never had to let it sit out.

  3. Probably won't if your municipality is using chloramine instead of chlorine. Make sure to check ;)

You can remove excess chlorine using a carbon filter.

  4. Yes plan water is ok because it has Trace elements in it.
The picture of the plant I see could really use a good cleaning down low, all that little stuff is only going to make things super thick and be larf unless you want all the stuff down low.

  5. I know I lollipop after 2 weeks of 12/12 thanks

  6. takes 24 hours to vape out CL in most cases, a total waste if your town don't use CL,
Chloramine is best dealt with by little pills/tablets from your pet store, by the fish tanks

or you could try making you own distilled water treatment, steam to water
then add your own Calmag, 6.5Ph is the best Ph for weed

my bathroom cold water tap has 30ppm(tds) all year, that's one good reason to live in Sweden
plus late winter nights, IMO get a TDS or E.C tool

    good luck

  7. this. and you should be good.

  8. I use tap water.
    200<ppm
    7.0 pH
I let is sit in buckets to overnight before a solution change. It’s more for temperature than chlorine, the Colorado tap water is tooth cracking cold in the winter.

  9. You don't catch your rainwater? That's what people in Hawaii do.

  10. In Colorado we would have to melt the snow to make it rain.
What are you doing in Kentucky for water?

Rainwater can be good or bad depending on how it's collected. From a house gutter with animal feces & what not in it??? I've tried tap water, well water, rain water & now I tote 3 6gal jugs to the r/o water machine every week or so 3.75$ for 18 gal. can I do this forever, no. There's always a work around for whatever you have. Is it optimal, what is?

  12. Believe it or not..it is illegal to gather rain water in some states. Ridiculous..right?

  13. I use straight out of the tap water. Don't let it sit overnight. Just dump the nutes n pH n roll with it.
    Ppm 130
    Ph 7.2
I e not seen any issues.

Damn, you have a jungle in there..lol

  14. Given no choice plants will use anything. I use hose water for everything other than cannabis & do not Ph correct it, can the plants tell? :confused_2:

  15. Not about the water but you got a shit ton of potential clones there if you want them.

  16. I live in a desert so my well water here is like liquid concrete. I use RO water for myself and my plants. Yeah it is that bad. . Most water districts in the USA provide pretty good water so leaving it out to sit for 24 cannot hurt. If you are living in a midsize to large city, I would imagine your tap water is fine for your growing needs without having to pay for RO water. Your water provider should have an analysis of your water at your disposal on their website. Always interesting to check out IMHO.

  17. The water in the desert is hard and sucks for any use. Are you filtering or hauling containers from a water station?

  18. On well. I have 2 types of water in house. All water goes through carbon then softened. After that, If I drink it or cook with it, it is ROed. The rust right out of the well is scary. The water here will slowly kill you. No hyperbole. My pet deserves better.

  19. i know and i hurts to just let them go to waste i used to clone all my plants but dont really need to anymore these seeds only costed 30 bucks for 11 seeds and the stuff seems to be stable genetics so instead of cloning i just will order more seeds I may take a few in mid flower to experiment with some monster clones though from the strongest plant
