Taking weed to Leeds festival...

ohhh man i cant wait

 

well cant speak for security at Leeds, but i go to T in the Park every year, and after MANY years i've learned the following........

1/ buy a pipe in there, that way if you get stopped your not losing a sentimental piece, that may mean a lot to you, make sure it's a pipe, that way they won't find it when you search you for talking bottles into the arena (that's if you can camp?)(fits in your back in your belt) no glass at T in the Park even the campsite, apart from the glass pipes they sell at the head shops (strange i know, but true!!)

2/ i take my grass in with me, double bagged, strapped to the front of my body, and trying to avaoid the hairs!!.....ouch!..... that way a patdown won't feel it, ie under a jumper, fleece etc, don't try it with a t-shirt, they'll think you've got 3 man boobs.......lol

3/ buy your blunts/skins roach in there, as if they find skins, they'll go hunting for weed, no smoke without fire eh?

4/ just enjoy yourself and don't worry, don't look too nervous, there's thousands of people sneaking in FAR worse than an oz of weed.........E, Coke, smack, acid etc etc etc.............Peace out........Sid

 

How easy is it to get acid/weed in redding festival?

 

Ah we went to reading festival with almost 2 ounces of ganja last year. I myself took about 12g i think, and my friend took about 35g. No one is gonna search you on entry to the campsites, theres just way way too many people to do that.

When you go into the arenas though, they do pat you down briefly, not much though, cos remember the amount of people flowing through. What i normally do is just crotch all my stuff in a pouch, works very well.

Finding drugs in festivals - Drugs such as acid would be very hard to find unless you knew the right people. Even shrooms were hard to find, except for the overpriced garbage they sell you at the shops. I know some guy I met had bought ecstacy, but said it was quite a shit pill.

If you do take harder drugs, obviously hide them better.

Ganja will be pretty easy to find, seeing as everyone is smoking it openly. You can smoke how you like when you like, as long as its not up in the face of police man or member of staff. They really wont exactly hassle you.

We did see a few police walking round the festival camps looking for trouble, but generally they just told people to put out fires, and gave people cautions for doing stupid things.

Ill probs go reading again this year. But ill take along some greater drug selection for my enjoyment.

 

Well once you had the ounce, you could squash it down to the size of an orange really.
So think 2 oranges volume wise when its in buds. You can easily store it in many things. Socks, boxes, bottles, books.... anything which conceals it.

Smell is the only problem, either wrap it up in shitloads of bags or clingfilm if you have a big issue over it, or use a tupperware container or equally airtight pot for storing it.

Tupperware and sealable boxes are definitely the best for smell. You have to get inventive for hiding the bag.

 

Boffin, try and get some good (unmicrowaved) hash instead. A lot easier to stash!

i will be taking an ounce of the best shit i can find, maybe even my own homegrown if its ready by then, cos there aint much good here (i dunno when the festival is... probably wont be ready)

i am also going to leeds festival (camping for the weekend) and do u think it would be wise to take some ready make joints? i think it would be much easier having it ready made.

i was thinking i'd make as many joints as possible, (prolly from about 40 quids worth) and putting them in a cd case, (take the cd holder out and just have the outside case) what do u guys think?

 

I will be attending reading as well. Just planning how to take my bud in. I was asking how to get it in a while ago on here and one person said to just pass it through the fence to a friend. Sounds like a good plan to me. I've heard that there will be drug dogs this year which is the only thing worrying me. Anyone been caught with MJ entering Reading before? Would be interesting to know what happens if you do.

English - If you can hide the cd case well then go for it but it wouldn't hide the smell all that well

 

Try putting it in an air tight pill bottle, then in your cd case

if there are any drug dogs there, you'd probably see some other people getting cought. if you see one there you can just stash it somewhere and pick it up later

 

lol I just saw how old this thread is..oops..Anyways, pill bottle sounds a good idea but where would one find such a bottle without taking the medication? I just read somewhere that you dont get searched going into the festival site, which i guess means the campsite as well. You only get searched on the way into the aren apparently. Good news for me!

 

I went last year with about £200 worth, had it stashed in a fake beans tin in my rucksack.

yeah man im going this year taking £60 worth best place to hide it is in your tent bag cos i doubt if you do get searched they will look through peoples tents also dont have skins on you for obv reasons
